Pacific Wind Arts and Sculpture Garden is a non-profit community organization founded by resident artist, Trace "Tres" Fukuhara in 1999 in Central Long Beach. With the help of Lisa Hernandez from The Long Beach Depot For Creative Reuse,
we were able to meet such a talented artist with a big heart for his
community. Fukuhara was kind enough to open up his vibrant space to hold the NOZOMI
Art Show.
You
can find Fukuhara's work embedded throughout the streets of Long Beach.
He was commissioned by the City to produce the huge planters you see
dotted along the new Bike Lanes of Downtown.
