Recycled Drum Circle

Pacific Wind Art's very own Resident Artist, Trace Fukuhara is part of Long Beach's Recycled Drum Circle. They will be jamming out during NOZOMI Art Show and we encourage everyone of all ages to participate to create some awesome beats using recycled items.  Trace is also a fan of Hip-Hop culture and suggested having a B-Boy/B-Girl and Pop-n-Lock session. Through music and dance, we can spread messages of Hope!

The video below is a feature of the sounds of the Recycled Drum Circle and our friend Lisa Hernandez from The Long Beach Depot for Creative Reuse. Thanks to her, we were able to meet Trace and coordinate this important event. With so many natural disasters affecting our world today, it is important that we live a sustainable lifestyle for our future generations; after all, we only have one Mother Earth.
